Code of Conduct
The Comedy Con is a place for provocative comedy AND a safe, respectful environment for the people making and watching it. These principles apply to everyone in the building: attendees, performers, staff, partners, and press.
Respect everyone in the room
Harassment, threats, and targeted abuse are never part of the show. Comedy on stage is the show; attacks on staff, attendees, or performers are not.
Consent and photography
No unwanted physical contact. No recording performers or attendees who have not consented. Some programming will be phone-free by design.
Reporting
Trained staff and a confidential reporting channel will be published with venue details. Reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly.
Consequences
Violating this code can result in warnings, removal from programming or venues, badge revocation, and — where appropriate — reporting to law enforcement.
